nanoFabUK Symposium 2026

Aaqib Ayub represented the Biodetection Technologies Hub at the nanoFabUK Symposium 2026 by showcasing the microfabrication facilities and capabilities at the University of Hertfordshire. His talk, “Beyond the Cleanroom: Building Research Capability Through Technical Leadership in a Post 92 University,” and accompanying poster sparked valuable conversations about the role of technical leadership in expanding research infrastructure beyond traditional cleanroom environments.

We’re delighted that the University of Hertfordshire has now joined nanoFabUK as a member, and that the Hub could attend its first committee meeting to begin discussions around future collaboration in nanofabrication, microfluidics, and biodetection.
