New paper from the Hub!
We are proud to highlight recent work from hub members on real-time characterisation of bioaerosol emissions.
In this paper, Dr Jianghan Tian (University of Hertfordshire), Prof Frederic Coulon (Cranfield University) and Dr Zaheer Nasar (Cranfield University) have teamed up with along with other researchers at Cranfield University and China University of Geosciences. They demonstrate how advanced single-particle fluorescence sensing can resolve activity-driven bioaerosol emissions in real time. This work builds on years of pioneering research using instruments like the Spectral Intensity Bioaerosol Sensor (SIBS) to capture size, shape and multi-wavelength fluorescence signatures of airborne biological particles from complex sources such as wastewater treatment and biowaste facilities.
