The 2nd Aerosols & Microbiology Conference

The Biodetection Technologies Hub attended and sponsored the 2nd Aerosol and Microbiology Conference, held in Leeds, UK, from 9 to 11 June 2026.

We were delighted to take part in this impactful conference, which brought together research at the intersection of the physics, chemistry, and biology of bioaerosols. The programme featured many insightful talks and engaging posters, creating valuable opportunities for networking and future collaboration.

It was also a pleasure to exhibit a stand showcasing the various collection devices we have developed over the years and to share the research mission of the Biodetection Technologies Hub. Our PhD student and Early Career Researchers had an excellent opportunity to chair several sessions. Congratulations to Etelka on winning the best poster of the conference!
