Connect in York at the AASC 2025
The Biodetection Technologies Hub is delighted to announce its participation in the Annual Aerosol Science Conference 2025 (AASC 2025), taking place from 28th to 29th October 2025 at The Guildhall in York, United Kingdom.
Organised by the Aerosol Society, this annual gathering brings together leading researchers in aerosol science from industry, government and academia to explore the latest advances across measurement techniques, modelling, health impacts, and emerging applications.
If you are attending AASC 2025, we invite you to connect with the Biodetection Technologies Hub team - find us during the poster presentations or reach out prior to the event.
From the Hub, two research posters will be presented on aerosol sampling:
Sampling of a Bio-aerosol using Electrowetting-Enhanced Electrostatic Precipitation by Dr Lanka Weerasiri. As a busy research fellow, unfortunately, Lanka is unable to attend in person as he is presenting at MicroTAS 2025, Australia (click here for more information).
Exploring New Concepts for Aerosol Collection: Corona-free Actuation of Aerosolised Microspheres by Dr Etelka Chung.
Also joining from the Hub are Prof Daniel McCluskey (President of the Aerosol Society) and Philip Keenan.
